First a few words on the list and its construction.  While I’m not oblivious to such things as historical significance and overall production value, this list represents a ranking of my enjoyment of the movies relative to the other movies on the list only.  Also, I have not viewed every title that one might have grown accustomed to seeing on such Sci-Fi collections.  So my apologies to fans of movies like “Forbidden Planet” and “A Scanner Darkly”, I haven’t gotten to those yet.  And I haven’t seen “Avatar” and don’t believe I ever will.
